Adelina Suvagau
Adelina Suvagau is a respected award winning TV Producer with 20 years experience who currently produces, directs, videographs and edits Rompost TV, the Romanian Television Show for Omni BC, cable 8.
Awarded for the Best Television Show in 1993 by the Association of Television Professionals in Romania, Adelina produced over 300 television shows for the Romanian National TV Station between 1990 and 1995. Trained as a BBC correspondent in Europe, Adelina Suvagau worked in 1995 as the News Director for Amerom Television, an American TV station licensed in Bucharest, Romania.
In 1995 Adelina moved from Romania to Vancouver with her husband and daughter. Here, she founded Sonia Productions Inc. which soon after earned a reputation for technical and creative excellence as well as for consistent completion of projects on time and within budget. Sonia Productions Inc. specializes in Television and Documentary Production, TV Commercials, Training Videos and DVD production.
Since 2004 over 360-television episodes for Channel M and Omni BC, cable 8, have been produced by Adelina Suvagau. Her Vancouver TV program is broadcasted weekly on Saturdays at 1:00 PM and on Wednesday at 12:00 PM on cable 8.
Adelina Suvagau is the recipient of the following awards:
- 1993 ? Best Romanian Television Show, by the Association of Television Professionals of Romania.
- 2006 – The Culture Promoter Award, by the BC Romanian Community Centre in recognition for promoting Romanian Culture in Canada.
- 2010 – The Accolade Competition, Award of Merit – Short Documentary for “We Can’t See You Beating Us”
- 2010 – The Accolade Competition, Award of Merit Viewer – Impact Motivational/Inspirational for “We Can’t See You Beating Us”
